Apricot Kernel Oil
Prunus Armeniaca Kernel Oil
Certified organic
Inside the hard stone of an apricot lies a kernel rich in oil. Its composition is dominated by oleic acid, an omega-9 fatty acid, and linoleic acid, an essential omega-6 fatty acid. The oil also contains naturally occurring tocopherols—forms of vitamin E—and phytosterols, compounds found in plant cell membranes.
Apricot kernel oil acts as an emollient, helping soften roughness and leave dry skin feeling smoother and more supple. In Oro Rosa, it contributes silky glide and a soft finish, complementing the richer botanical character of rosehip, pomegranate, and sea buckthorn CO₂ extracts.

Bakuchi Seed Oil
Psoralea Corylifolia Seed Oil
Cold-pressed
Bakuchi, also known as babchi, is a seed-bearing botanical with a long history in Ayurvedic preparations. Cold pressing produces a whole seed oil containing naturally occurring bakuchiol alongside other oil-soluble constituents. Its composition differs from the concentrated bakuchiol ingredient used separately in modern skincare.
In Azul, bakuchi seed oil contributes botanical richness and emollience to the blend of hibiscus, meadowfoam, jojoba, and squalane. We pair the whole seed oil with a separate bakuchiol ingredient, bringing these two distinct preparations together in the formula.

Blue Tansy
Tanacetum Annuum Flower Oil
Blue tansy is a yellow-flowered botanical whose essential oil develops a striking blue color during steam distillation. Heat transforms naturally occurring precursors into chamazulene, the compound responsible for the oil’s deep indigo hue. Its aroma is equally distinctive: herbaceous and green, with warm, softly sweet undertones.
In Azul, we use a small amount of blue tansy alongside frankincense and copaiba to bring aromatic depth to the blend. Its concentrated botanical color contributes to the finished oil’s hue, while its herbal character complements the silky base of squalane, hibiscus seed oil, and meadowfoam.

The flowers also contain triterpenes, including faradiol esters, compounds studied for their soothing potential.
At ESTELÍ, we prepare our calendula infusion in-house, steeping the flowers in oil to extract their oil-soluble constituents. This botanical preparation contributes to the comforting character of Oro Rosa and Verano, complementing the plant oils that soften roughness and leave dry skin feeling supple and cared for.

Jojoba is unusual among botanical oils: the seeds yield a liquid wax composed primarily of long-chain wax esters rather than the triglycerides found in most plant oils. Wax esters also occur naturally in human sebum, making jojoba a distinctive choice for skin-conditioning formulas. It also contains naturally occurring tocopherols, forms of vitamin E.
Golden jojoba provides smooth glide and lasting emollience, helping soften roughness and leave skin feeling supple without a heavy finish. We use it as a versatile foundation in face and body oils, where it complements richer seed oils and concentrated botanical extracts while contributing to an even, silky application.

In Flora Polish, ground lavender flowers contribute whole botanical material and a subtle herbal aroma to the powdered mask. They join hibiscus and other botanicals in a preparation mixed fresh for each use.
Lavender Essential Oil
Distillation captures lavender’s volatile aromatic compounds, including linalool and linalyl acetate. In Magnesio, the essential oil brings floral softness to frankincense, copaiba, and sweet orange. In Todo Bien, it rounds out the freshness of peppermint and rosemary and the warmth of black pepper.
